Gig – Career Data & Systems Support

The Project
The project focuses on supporting Career Center systems and data operations through short-term, defined technical tasks. Responsibilities include organizing and cleaning datasets, assisting with reporting and analytics, supporting internal tools used for tracking student engagement, and identifying opportunities to improve workflows through automation or process optimization. The project is limited in scope, outcome-driven, and will not exceed the program’s maximum hour limit.

Learning Experience
The student will gain experience working with real-world datasets, internal systems, and operational tools in a professional environment. The role emphasizes problem-solving, technical thinking, and process improvement, allowing the student to apply analytical and technology skills while developing an understanding of how systems support career services operations.

Outcomes
The project will result in cleaned, organized, and well-documented datasets, along with completed reports or dashboards that support Career Center initiatives. The student will contribute to improving or documenting workflows for internal tools and processes, helping increase efficiency and clarity in operations. Through these deliverables, the student will demonstrate the practical application of technical and analytical skills in a real-world professional setting.
