Job Description
The College of Engineering Senior Design Program is seeking a responsible Lab Assistant for the Industrial Solutions Lab in Cameron Hall. Must be available to work evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Employee will ensure operations run smoothly in lab for undergraduate engineering teams working on senior design projects.

Safety Supervision: We are looking for a responsible, safety-conscious student to enforce lab safety protocols.

Operational Oversight: Manage lab flow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the facility is properly shut down and secured when lab closes.
Technical Requirements:

3D Printing: A thorough understanding of 3D printing is a must (understanding how to troubleshoot and make small repairs), as you will be the primary resource for students during your shift.

Fabrication & Machining: Prior experience with metal fabrication and machining is a significant plus.

Candidate Profile: College of Engineering students are preferred. You must be comfortable working independently and making decisions regarding lab safety. We are looking for a safety-conscious, technically proficient student with a genuine interest in engineering projects.
