Accounting Clerk Job Description: We are looking for an Accounting Clerk that can work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Proving general accounting and clerical assistance to the company.
  • Typing accurately, preparing, and maintaining accounting documents and records.
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
  • Utilize office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
  • Invoicing and reconciling for varying departments.
  • Maintaining and promoting vendor relations.
  • Assist in office management and organization procedures.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience as accounting clerk or other clerical position
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of office devices and processes
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • High school diploma required.
  • Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus
