About the Role:

As a CBRE Energy and Sustainability Analyst, you will assist with the development and execution of energy management programs and improvement of client KPI's. This is a remote position. Candidates in Eastern time are preferred.

This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the daily and weekly utility bill payment process using CBRE and client utility bill management platforms, including periodic triage of time-critical correspondence with local utilities and IFMs to ensure utility service continuity at all client sites managed by CBRE. Assist in sustainability consulting for a facility to help meet sustainability goals.

  • Identify operational improvements. Execute opportunities to improve energy and sustainability performance.

  • Support sustainability goals, energy resilience strategies and programs.

  • Review data and interpretation of energy and sustainability reports.

  • Execute a sustainability, resilience, and smart energy plan for a designated facility.

  • Integrate knowledge of energy procurement and new technologies to improve performance.

  • Present periodic energy and sustainability status and variance reports. Collect energy, waste, and water data from clients and management.

  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Exchange straightforward information asks questions and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CEM and LEED accreditation preferred, training and accreditation part of development and performance management requirements.

  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Energy & Sustainability Analyst position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Energy & Sustainability Analyst position is $75,000 annually [or $36.06 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
