Gig Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Marketing and Brand Intern to join our growing team. As a new business, we need someone who is passionate about social media marketing, has a strong design eye, and is excited to contribute to building and growing our social media
presence. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the founder to help launch and manage our social media channels on LinkedIn and Instagram, helping to drive engagement, establish a consistent brand voice, and build a following from the ground up.

In addition to social media, there will be opportunities to assist with other marketing efforts and campaigns aimed at expanding the visibility of Elara Collective.


Location:
This internship can be remote, with the possibility of occasional in-person collaboration depending on location and needs.


Project Scope:
● Social Media Management: Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling regular posts for LinkedIn and Instagram.
● Content Creation: Design engaging visuals, graphics, and copy that align with the brand’s voice and mission.
● Branding & Strategy: Help build a cohesive brand presence across social media, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
● Engagement & Growth: Assist in building a community by responding to comments, engaging with followers, and helping grow the business's social media following.
● Marketing Campaigns: Support the development of additional marketing initiatives
aimed at increasing brand awareness and generating leads.


Preferred Student Demographic & Qualifications:
● Major: Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design
● Skills:
○ Strong graphic design skills, with experience using tools like Canva, Adobe
Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar.
○ Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write engaging
and on-brand social media copy.
○ Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and the basics of engagement and growth strategies.
○ A creative mindset, able to think outside the box and contribute new ideas.
○ Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
○ Bonus: Experience with video editing, content scheduling tools, or social media analytics tools.

Hours Required for Completion:
● This internship requires 5-10 hours per week, with flexible hours to accommodate the student’s schedule.

● Launch and Manage Social Media Channels: Successfully contribute to the creation of a social media content calendar and assist in the daily management of posts for LinkedIn and Instagram.
● Grow Social Media Following: Assist in increasing brand visibility, engagement, and following on both platforms.
● Consistent Branding: Ensure that all social media posts are aligned with Elara Collective’s mission and brand voice.
● Marketing Campaign Support: Contribute to the development of new marketing initiatives and campaigns to expand Elara Collective’s reach and attract potential clients.
