Do you genuinely enjoy helping people?

Are you the person who remembers names, solves problems before they're asked, and makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through the door?

If so, we'd love to meet you.

At Piedmont School of Music & Dance, we're much more than a dance and music school. Our mission is to develop leadership, confidence, and character through exceptional dance and music education. Every interaction with our students and families helps shape that experience.

We're looking for a Student Success Advisor & Family Enrollment Specialist to become the face of our school. This is much more than a receptionist position—it's a relationship-building role focused on welcoming new families, creating exceptional customer experiences, and helping prospective students become lifelong members of the PSMD family.

Schedule:

Part-Time | Approximately 26.5 hours per week

Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM

We believe exceptional customer service deserves exceptional compensation. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our organization, and we reward outstanding performance.

Performance Bonus Opportunities:

  • Enrollment conversion goals
  • Student and family retention

Your Primary Mission:

Your most important responsibility will be helping prospective families become part of the PSMD community.

You'll conduct enrollment conferences, answer questions, learn about each child's goals, and confidently recommend the programs that best fit their needs. Every conversation should leave families feeling excited, informed, and confident in their decision to join our school.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping people make important decisions.

  • Help retain students by creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming front office.
  • Anticipate the needs of teachers, students, and families.
  • Provide accurate end-of-day enrollment and activity reports.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Friendly, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
  • An exceptional communicator.
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Great with both children and adults.
  • A proactive problem solver.
  • Confident leading conversations and helping families make decisions.
  • Positive, coachable, and eager to learn.

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, admissions, sales, banking, healthcare, boutique fitness, retail leadership, or customer success is highly valued.
  • Dance or music experience is not required.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Ideal Backgrounds:

Candidates with experience in the following fields often excel in this role:

  • Hospitality and hotel guest services
  • Medical office coordination
  • Banking and relationship management
  • Boutique fitness studios
  • Retail leadership and customer experience
  • Family-focused service environments
  • Admissions, enrollment, or membership sales

Why You'll Love Working at PSMD:

You'll join a team that believes people come first.

Every day, you'll help children discover confidence, build lasting relationships with families, and contribute to an organization dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through dance and music.

This is an opportunity to build a meaningful career in customer service, enrollment, and student success while making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
