FWS: Remote Community Gardner Assistant

Assisting with the behind-the-scenes garden maintenance for a children's community garden, community herb farm, and free Food Forest in East Charlotte.

Job Duties may include: tilling, weeding, watering, planting, building new structures, weed whacking, lawn mowing, pushing a wheelbarrow, sod removal, harvesting, seed saving, herb-drying, learning about soil remediation, herbs, permaculture and food forest practices! You may bring home food and herbs. 

How many hours you work and when you work is flexibile. However, we will choose at least one standing workday a week.

Must be able to be self-motivated to show up, get dirty, follow directions, learn, and possibly work alone (depending on timing)! Pay rate is determined by experience.
