Do you have personal experience supporting a child, youth, or young adult through behavioral health or substance use challenges? Are you passionate about helping other families find hope and stability?

At Monarch NC, we believe in the power of lived experience to transform lives. We’re seeking a Family Partner to join our Mobile Outreach, Response, Engagement, and Stabilization (MORES) team in Chatham County. In this role, you’ll walk alongside families during times of crisis, offering support, guidance, and advocacy rooted in your own journey.

You don’t need to be certified yet — just willing to pursue the North Carolina Certified Family Partner (CFP) credential. We’ll support you with training and development.

What You’ll Do

As a Family Partner, you’ll:

• Support families and youth following a behavioral health crisis
• Share your lived experience to help others navigate challenges and build resilience
• Empower families to make informed decisions about care, services, and life goals
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure family voice and choice are central to care
• Promote stability, healing, and hope for children, adolescents, and transition-age youth

What You Bring

To qualify, candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

• High school diploma or GED + 4 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth, OR
• Associate’s degree in a Human Services field + 2 years of experience with the target population, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field + 1 year of experience with the target population.

And:

• Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child/youth with behavioral health or substance use challenges
• Willingness to obtain Certified Family Partner (CFP) credential upon hire
