HSM has an opportunity for a Marketing Intern to work in the Marketing department located at the PTI location in Hickory, NC. The Marketing Intern will provide assistance and gain expertise by working to support the Marketing function within HSM. This internship will provide the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in many aspects of communications and development, while also gaining a good understanding of the HSM organization.

Responsibilities

Projects:

• Enhance utility of current LinkedIn platform for new opportunities
• Research new ideas for Sales Leads/opportunities
• Work with Sales/marketing team to identify opportunities in current processes

Identify opportunities to utilize social media platforms to increase footprint

 Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA
• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program or anticipating graduation
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with superior written, verbal and organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft (including Excel) and Adobe a plus
• The ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

(Professionals, Achievements, Results, Knowledge, Synergy) Internship Program provides valuable, meaningful experience while offering the opportunity for career exploration and development. Through interdepartmental team building, lunch and learns, and hands on projects, the PARKS Program offers opportunities to build professional connections while developing essential business acumen. This paid internship is full-time and will last for ten consecutive weeks, beginning on Monday, May 27th and ending Friday, August 2nd.
