The Internship
The Fraternity and Sorority Life Coordinator supports the daily operations, programming, and student engagement efforts within the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) office. This role ensures the effective execution of programs, events, and administrative tasks that enhance the student experience and promote a thriving, inclusive Greek community.

Learning Experience
Students involved in a Fraternity and Sorority Life Coordinator–type role gain valuable leadership, collaboration, and professional skills. Through supporting programs and daily operations, they develop experience in event planning, communication, and problem-solving while working with diverse student groups and campus partners. This role enhances organizational and administrative skills, including logistics management and understanding policies. Students also learn to create inclusive, engaging experiences that strengthen community and belonging. Overall, the experience builds career readiness by equipping students with transferable skills, professional confidence, and the ability to lead, collaborate, and contribute effectively in various post-graduate settings.

Outcomes
Student Engagement & Programming: •Manage the TELOS Senior Transition Program, overseeing pre-assessments, social media outreach, marketing, attendance tracking, progress monitoring, and post-assessments. •Facilitate the Gold Standard Approvals process for both fraternities and sororities. •Coordinate and support Greek Weekend events, including Airband, Hygiene Dive, Greek Awards, Day of Service, and Greek Games. •Assist with National Hazing Prevention Week programming and awareness initiatives. •Support and organize recruitment and engagement events such as Panhellenic Recruitment, IFC Recruitment, Yard Show, DGC Picnic, Stroll Competition, and Help! I Want to Go Greek! •Represent FSL at university-wide events, including Open House and Admitted Students Day. Administrative & Office Support: •Serve as the office greeter, assisting students with inquiries and providing guidance. •Monitor and manage the Greek Grad email, ensuring responses within 48 hours. •Notify chapters when they receive mail and manage office communications. •Maintain office organization, including snack restocking, decorations for holidays, and general cleanliness. •Track service and philanthropy hours for Greek organizations. •Answer office phones when professional staff members are unavailable. •Take inventory of office supplies and coordinate with the supervisor for restocking.
