STW: VOLT Student Lead

VOLT Student Leads facilitate team building programs for the Charlotte community and help guide adventure trips. They coordinate implement various aspects of Venture programs, including coordinating their peer leadership teams in logistics, facilitation, and supervision/ coaching of VOLT Apprentice Facilitators, VOLT Student Instructors, and program participants. 

Leads manage their peer-leadership team to support the physical and emotional safety of participants and co-leaders.  In addition to coaching Apprentices and Instructors in these areas, they may also individually (1) instruct experiential lessons in their area of focus, (2) facilitate conversations before, during, and after programs between participants and co-leaders, and (3) give and receive feedback within their leadership team, with participants, and with supervisors.
