Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a summer Intern. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will be a hybrid remote position.

Responsibilities

GovCIO's internship program is designed to provide on-the-job training and experience for college students in various fields. Our program operations intern will be able to work on various assignments. The intern will:

• Develop a working knowledge of the Division's programs, processes, people, and technologies.

• Attend program and corporate meetings as assigned.

• Collaborate with teams across the Division and opportunities to collaborate across the business.

• Support current business processes and assist with implementation of new business processes.

• Assist in additional projects

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, with a focus on computer science

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident?to acquire a Public Trust.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Completed coursework or pursuing or a degree in the area(s) related to the internship, specifically computer science

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Yr.
