Job Description
Servers will report directly to the Event Manager for tasks and duties which vary for each event. Servers will work throughout the duration of the event which includes load in, time at the event, and load out. Depending on the event, servers will be asked to assist in a variety of tasks with a positive, customer service oriented attitude. Servers may be asked to work outside and will need to come prepared for the elements. The majority of events are on weekends, and shifts typically range between 8-12 hours. Staff meals will be provided during full service events. Servers are encouraged to bring their own snacks as well and will be granted a 15-minute break at the discretion of the Event Manager during the event. It is the responsibility of the server to ensure they are well nourished and energized to complete the tasks
assigned to them on the job.
Job Duties:
● Clock in and out for each event worked
● Drive and/or ride in uhaul vans or work vehicles during shift
● Clean and organize event materials as needed
● Load event materials onto trucks from the kitchen (can be up to 50 lbs)
● Set-up event materials onsite
● Serve food (Pass appetizers, replenish buffet, serve plated meals, pass beverages, etc.)
● Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner
● Clear food as needed (plates, disposable items, buffet, trash, linens, etc.)
● Breakdown any event materials and load in truck
● Unload event materials at kitchen (can be up to 50 lbs)
● Clean and organize event materials as needed
