Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer to design an engaging, hands-on course on the topics of Electricity, Magnetism, and Electromagnetism for middle and high school students. The curriculum should include activities using household items to explain core concepts, making learning both fun and accessible. The course will be conducted online, and, once developed, will be hosted as a live workshop. The curriculum developer may optionally lead/host these online workshops.

  • Develop a comprehensive and engaging online curriculum on electricity, magnetism, and electromagnetism. This will be a 4 week online workshop, meeting once a week for 1 hour.
  • Incorporate hands-on activities using everyday household items to illustrate key concepts and promote hands-on learning.
  • Ensure the content is appropriate for middle and high school students and aligns with STEM learning standards. Activities should be safe and not pose any risks to students.
  • Work with the team to review and approve the curriculum before launching the course.
  • Optionally, if comfortable host online workshops. Workshops are typically scheduled during after-school hours (4 - 7 pm ET).
