To be eligible for student employment with the Office of Alumni Engagement, you must be a UNC Charlotte student currently enrolled in classes. Students may work during the Summer sessions if enrolled for the Fall. This position is for Fall 2024 only. Hours will vary depending on event/ home football schedules. 

Alumni Operations Assistant ($11.50)

Alumni Events and Operations Assistants are responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Alumni Engagement facilities, providing customer service, and overseeing events within the facilities. This position is primarily responsible for helping to staff, setup, and break down the Alumni Football Tailgates that take place at the Hauser Alumni Pavilion in the fall. 

Responsibilities

Events

• Verify correct event setups from info via event folders.
• Greet event groups and provide onsite assistance as necessary.
• Provide a/v support before and during events.
• Responsible for room changes for setup/breakdown of events (Must be able to lift and move furniture up to 50Ibs) for both the Hauser Alumni Pavilion and Harris Alumni Center.
• Assist in building/event coverage for the Hauser Alumni Pavilion and Harris Alumni Center.
• Assist in the set up, staffing, and breakdown of all home Alumni Tailgate events.
• Assist full time staff as needed in various capacities.
