STW: VOLT Apprentice Facilitator

VOLT Apprentice Facilitators facilitate team building programs for the Charlotte community and help guide adventure trips. Apprentices are coached and mentored by VOLT Instructors and VOLT Leads as they gain the knowledge skills and abilities (KSAs) for promotion into those positions. KSAs include trip and team building logistics, group facilitation, and peer instruction. 

Apprentices work within a peer-leadership team to support the physical and emotional safety of participants and co-leaders. They also support (1) experiential lessons in their area of focus; (2) conversations before, during, and after programs between participants and co-leaders; and (3) giving and receiving feedback within their leadership team, with participants, and with supervisors.
