Inside Sales Representative

Looking for an Inside Sales Representative for a niche industrial supply company located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Experience in sales is a plus but not required.  Knowledge of instrumentation, process equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe valves & fittings is a plus but not required. There is no cold calling.  This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities and duties of this position include

• Handling customer inquiries by phone and email
• Acquiring and sustaining a working knowledge of products
• Assisting customers with product selection and application
• Preparing and submitting quotes
• Following up on quotes and action items
• Coordinating efforts with other team members
• Supporting outside sales activities
• Entering and managing customer orders and supporting shipping and receiving
