Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation department is looking to add an integral member to their team! We are currently looking to hire a part-time Recreation Assistant at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex located in Matthews, NC.

This position will organize and direct athletic reservations and events at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex. Partner with stadium event organizers and management to ensure preparation for event logistics. Monitor participants and spectators to ensure facilities guidelines are followed. Perform maintenance and cleaning of athletic equipment, buildings, and grounds. Communicate frequently with management to ensure effective facility operations. Position will primarily work weekday evenings and weekends.
