Job Description
The Production Manufacturing Intern will report to the Production Manager and, in collaboration with the production and engineering teams, work on core projects and goals focused on safety, yield, cost (cycle time/rate and availability), and energy/cost reduction. The role will be engaging, hands-on, and heavily based on production floor operations and procedure development.

Reviewing and capturing data for multiple operation job functions.

Active and engaged conversation with production operators on job duties and tasks.

Documentation of required job skills for multiple operations positions.

Daily meeting with Manager to review scope or work and results.

Comparing active procedures with current training documents.

Development of job position training skills and procedures by utilizing AI tools and other tools in a designated system location

Process Documentation: Creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Data Entry: Recording production metrics and maintaining accurate logs for analysis.

Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Currently Enrolled in Engineering Degree (Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)
Knowledge/Skills:
Required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Basis understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Preferred:
Experience in AI configuration systems/tools
