Rockstar San Diego is on the lookout for a student who is interested in creating a supportive and safe environment and assisting with the day-to-day operation of our San Diego studio facility. This is a paid, fixed term contract position running for 10 weeks from June 2026 to mid-August 2026, with the expectation of a 40-hour work week. The successful candidate will work in Rockstar’s new state-of-the-art game development studio in Carlsbad, California.
WHAT WE DO
- The Workplace Services team is responsible for ensuring the workplace, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously to support the core business.
- We provide a safe environment for Rockstar Games staff.
- We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive real estate growth strategies and leasehold improvement.
- We ensure the studios comply with all relevant compliance and legislation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure issues are proactively found, allocated, prioritized, and fixed with efficiency.
- Conduct checks and audits of the site and workplace services.
- Maintain up-to-date trackers and management systems and produce reports.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute designated projects ensuring all work is done to a high standard.
- Achieve well-scoped goals based on guidance and support from Leads and team members.
REQUIREMENTS
- This internship is intended for students currently pursuing a degree or certification in the facilities management/operations, project management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop rapport with others.
- Detail oriented, flexible self-starter with strong initiative and creative problem-solving ability.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Planning and project management experience with the ability to consider things from multiple angles.
- Capable of working autonomously, managing, and prioritizing their own workload and understanding when and where to seek guidance and approval.
- Basic understanding of current safety legislation and best practice.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per hour.
