About the Job
This Finance Excellence Program (FEP) internship supports Brightly Software, a Siemens Smart Infrastructure business, in advancing financial transparency and data-driven decision-making across its global software operations. The role contributes to improving product cost visibility, strengthening ARR and revenue analytics, and modernizing financial reporting through process improvements, automation, and emerging technologies. This opportunity also provides exposure to Siemens' innovative environment and serves as a potential pathway to the Finance Excellence Program (FEP).
What you will do
-
Collaborateacross Product, Technology, and Finance teams to improve software productcost transparency and advance the quality of Product P&L digitaldashboards.

Partnerwith Revenue, Marketing, and Finance teams to enhance ARR and revenuereporting, along with forecasting capabilities.

Supportthe finance organization in identifying and implementing process and toolenhancements, including improvements in cost-tracking transparency.

Challengeexisting financial reporting and analytics practices by applying knowledgeof emerging trends, industry standards, and modern tools, with a strongemphasis on automation and AI-enabled solutions.
What you need
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

Pursuingan MBA , MA, Financial Accounting or advanced degree by December 2026 orMay, 2027

5-10years of relevant finance experience in a global industrial company

Youthink logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creativeapproach to problem solving.

Youcan work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership ofchallenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive andlead change.

Youenjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Youhave experience in change, and in transformational situations.
Location and Duration

Availability: Full-time(40 hours/week) for 10 weeks (May-July or June-August)

Location: Hybrid- combination of onsite work in Raleigh, NC and remote work (no relocationor housing stipend provided).

GlobalMobility: Willingness and ability to relocate internationally forparticipation in the Siemens Finance Excellence Program (FEP) uponsuccessful completion of the internship.
