Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Administrative Assistant to support our credit team and ensure smooth, accurate processing of customer and financial information. This role handles customer communication, documentation, and credit-related tasks that help maintain efficient daily operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of six months related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write general business correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret reports, procedures, and policies.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, or public.
  • Ability to search files and databases and compile information gathered.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization’s credit team by performing customer onboarding tasks and assisting with financial documentation processes.
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries via telephone and electronic mail.
  • Process customer credit applications.
  • Retrieve Dun & Bradstreet reports for credit managers to assess customer financial stability, creditworthiness, and payment history.
  • Organize and record financial and compliance‑related documents.
  • Create new customer records in designated operating systems.
  • Complete customer waivers and forward to appropriate parties.
  • Assist with cash application.
  • Process credit card payments from customers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
