Job Description
This position will assist in the development of UNC Charlotte emergency management programs and plans. Key position duties include:
- Conducts research related to the office's objectives and recommending processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assists with the creation and/or maintenance of program plans and systems.
- Participates in the development of initiatives to increase UNC Charlotte Office of Emergency Management visibility through program/service delivery throughout the campus community.
- Advances assigned programs or services to meet goals and objectives.
- Develops program/service-specific objectives for new initiatives.
- Acts as a program or service subject matter expert (SME) to staff, management, and internal/external partners.
- Create, develop, or maintain databases for various lines of service events or projects.
- Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to the campus community.
- Attend planning meetings and collect information which will then be written into proper program form.
