WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Account Executive to join our team. If you are passionate about selling advertising, negotiating with ad agencies, and fostering new business relationships, this opportunity is for you. You will work with a talented team, receive competitive compensation, and access powerful multi-platform marketing solutions to drive client growth. 

Responsibilities include generating revenue across various platforms, prospecting for developing new business partnerships, and account maintenance. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in media or digital sales, strong negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Produce revenue across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Prospect for and develop new business accounts.
  • Form strategic market partnerships.
  • Account maintenance and customer care for existing account list.
  • Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with client needs and station strategies.
  • Achieve individual sales goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • 1+ years in media or digital sales, or a similar sales field
  • New business development experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Consultative, customer-focused approach
  • Accountability within a goal-structured organization
  • Team player
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Related military experience will be considered
