Job Description

  • Provide administrative support for the Conference, Reservations, and Event Services department.
  • Perform office/accounting coordination duties such as inventory, purchasing, filing, deposits, invoicing, database/data entry, financial reporting, etc.
  • Effectively assist various customers (students, faculty, staff, service providers, businesses, clients, etc.) with program support in an event planning environment, while ensuring compliance with University policies.
  • Respond to telephone or email inquiries within 24 hours, and serve as first point of contact for walk-in clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the University and department’s practices, policies, and procedures and effectively communicate with customers.
  • Work with internal departments and external clients to obtain invoice payments promptly; monitor invoices and make appropriate fund disbursements regularly.
  • Support the financial operation by processing payments (including credit cards), work requests, and purchases.
