Monarch NC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Residential Services team in Wingate, NC. We provide trauma-informed, person-centered care that empowers individuals to achieve their goals, build independence, and live with dignity.

Work Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday-Friday (2:00pm-9:00pm)
• Week 2: Tuesday-Thursday (2:00pm-9:00pm) & Saturday-Sunday (1:00pm-9:00pm)

What You’ll Do:

As a DSP, you’ll support adults with I/DD in their daily routines and personal growth. You’ll work in a team-based environment with a 1:3 staff-to-resident ratio, ensuring quality care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare and serve meals (including hand-feeding when needed)
• Provide transportation to appointments
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Complete daily documentation and charting
• Engage individuals in meaningful activities and goal-setting
• Note: Overnight shifts require staying awake and conducting wellness checks every 15 minutes.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with I/DD, mental health challenges, or substance use disorders
• Valid Driver’s License
