The new undergraduate student researcher will join Dr. Xiaojun Ren’s lab in the Department of Biological Sciences. Under mentorship, the student will contribute to research on the epigenetic mechanisms underlying gene regulation. Their responsibilities will include conducting experiments in molecular cloning, CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genetic engineering, stem cell culture, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and single-molecule imaging. The research is expected to generate publishable results.
