Job Description
RoleModels University (RMU) is a Nonprofit 501C3 Afterschool Program that operates Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 5:30pm inside CMS Thomasboro Academy at 538 Bradford Drive Charlotte, NC. We provide a leadership and financial literacy curriculum to our students. This year we are teaching kindergarten - 2nd grade.
Currently, we are accepting applications for those who would like to teach. We will also offer opportunities for applicants to shadow our current teacher and volunteer inside the classroom. This will give our applicants an opportunity to observe our classroom to see if the position is a good fit. We have a small class of 7-8 students. Pickup time for parents is 5:30pm -5:45pm. However, our teachers are actually paid for 2.5 hours (3:30pm -6:00pm) each day Mon-Thursday. Teachers get paid biweekly. Our RMU afterschool program follows CMS schedule for operation. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has the patience and enjoyment for young children and who understands the importance of teaching kids about money and leadership.
