Location: Charlotte, NC (University area)

About Kanna
Kanna Collective is a multi-location cannabis and CBD retailer based in Charlotte, NC, with storefronts in the South End and University area, plus a growing e-commerce presence. We're a fast-moving, community-focused brand building something new in the wellness space, and we're looking for a creative, driven UNCC student to join our marketing team.
The Role
As our Marketing Intern, you'll work directly alongside our Marketing Director to support day-to-day marketing operations across our retail locations and online channels. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and real portfolio-building work, ideal for a student who wants practical experience across the full marketing mix.
What You'll Do
- Graphic Design: Create on-brand visuals for in-store signage, digital promotions, and social media
- Event Coordination: Help plan and execute in-store events, promotions, and Lounge activations
- Promotions: Support the development and rollout of seasonal offers and campaigns through various channels including email, SMS, and social media
- Social Media Content: Draft, schedule, and help produce content for Instagram and TikTok
- E-Commerce: Assist with product listings, online merchandising, and digital campaign support across our WooCommerce store
What We're Looking For
- Current UNC Charlotte student, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field
- Working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail
- Reliable, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must be 21+ (required for our product category)
