Job Description
2. Use knowledge of the university and state procurement rules and regulations and apply them accordingly.
3. Source and procure parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and services to support maintenance shop activities.
4. Apply knowledge of campus operational requirements and practices.
5. Research and understand vendor catalogs and websites.
6. Apply knowledge of MRO materials, parts, and supplies to manage the area as required.
7. Apply expertise in Microsoft Office and other related programs and master new technologies as needed.
8. Diagnose, supervise, and participate in skilled and semi-skilled repairs of mechanical defects in all automobiles, trucks, and other gas and diesel-powered equipment.
9. Demonstrate advanced-level knowledge of the following systems: ignition, electric, cooling, fuel, electrical, brake, exhaust, suspension, engine, and powertrain. UNC Charlotte
