Marketing Research Internship (12-Week Project) – Non-Profit Organization
We are seeking a Marketing Research Intern for a 12-week project to help define key buyer personas for our non-profit, Arin’s Good Girl Dog Treats (AGGDT). AGGDT employs individuals with disabilities to bake and sell all-natural dog treats. The intern will conduct research to identify and differentiate distinct buyer personas, supporting the creation of targeted marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be familiar with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including interviews, focus groups, surveys, and data analysis
- Be comfortable conducting research through in-person and virtual interactions to gather insights from diverse customer groups
- Have strong analytical skills to synthesize data and develop detailed, actionable persona profiles for distinct target audiences
- Work independently while receiving weekly check-ins with a mentor for guidance and support
- Present research findings and recommendations on how to effectively reach and engage each persona through tailored marketing strategies
Candidate should have completed or be currently enrolled in courses that cover:
- Market Research & Analytics: Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Consumer Behavior: Understanding how consumer decisions are made and influenced
- Branding and Positioning: Knowledge of how to position products effectively based on target audiences
