Software Engineer

Job Summary

Team Penske is seeking a Software Engineer with 1–3 years of professional experience to join our software development team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications that support our racing operations. This role provides the opportunity to learn from senior engineers while also taking ownership of meaningful projects in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, ASP.NET Blazor, HTML/CSS, and SQL.
• Assist in developing and maintaining containerized applications using Docker.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and delivery of code changes.
• Contribute to server-side solutions for both Windows and Linux environments.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative design discussions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and experience with web technologies such as HTML/CSS and SQL.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Blazor or similar web frameworks.
• Exposure to Docker containers and an understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux file systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or other cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and DevOps practices.
• Previous experience in a high-performance or engineering-focused industry.
