Pacor is looking to add an entry level Staff Accountant to their Gastonia, NC Team. The ideal applicant would have a 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years of on the job experience. 

Responsible for Financial Accounting Reporting:

• Timely & accurately prepare the monthly internal financial reports
• Assist with preparation, recording & monitoring of annual budget
• Complete year-end financial audit & tax returns with the assistance of outside auditors
• Assist Human Resources with annual 401(K) and Worker’s Compensation audits

Responsible for Other Accounting Functions:

• Oversight of accounting transactions such as AP & AR
• Backup & hands on involvement with the AR & AP functions
• Ensure customer credit limits are properly set and customer payments are made timely
• Complete all tax and necessary license filings and payments

Management of the Bank Treasury Function:

• Ensure timely & accurate recording of cash transactions in accounting system
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations on a timely basis
• Interface with bank for treasury needs, including corporate credit cards

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4-year accounting degree with 2+ years’ experience. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel.
