Construction Materials Technician

CMT Technician - Start Your Career in Construction

Looking to get into construction or engineering but don't know where to start?

This is a hands-on, entry-level role that gets you out on job sites and learning real skills from day one.

What You'll Do

• Collect soil and concrete samples on active construction sites

• Perform basic field testing or bring samples back to the lab when needed

• Stay active - lifting/moving equipment and materials (up to ~50 lbs regularly)

• Example: pushing/moving a wheelbarrow of concrete

• Document your work with simple daily notes/reports

• Background in labor or outdoor work (construction, landscaping, farming, etc.)

• Solid communication skills and reliability

• Ability to work on your own and stay productive

• Comfortable working outside in a field environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHARLOTTE, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
