Organization Profile
The Creative Cornerstone is a nonprofit organization based in Charlotte, NC, dedicated to empowering youth ages 13-18 from underrepresented communities through creative arts education. Our programs provide hands-on experience in film, photography, music production, and digital arts, equipping young creatives with the skills, confidence, and mentorship they need to succeed in media-related fields. Through workshops, mentorship, and community showcases, we foster artistic expression while promoting career pathways in the creative industry.

Internship Description
We are seeking a student proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom to join our team as a Video & Digital Media Editing Intern. This position involves editing video content from our workshops, promotional materials, and youth showcases, as well as assisting with digital media projects that highlight our organization's impact. The intern will work closely with our media team to develop compelling visual content that aligns with our mission.

Responsibilities include:
• Editing video footage from our workshops, showcases, and events using Adobe Premiere
• Enhancing images for promotional and educational materials using Photoshop and Lightroom
• Assisting in the creation of digital content for social media and marketing campaigns
• Collaborating with our team to develop engaging visual narratives that highlight youth creativity and program impact

Internship Location
This internship will be hybrid, with a combination of in-person work at our Charlotte, NC studio and remote editing tasks. In-person participation is essential for capturing footage, attending workshops, and collaborating with the media team.

Preferred Student Demographic & Qualifications
We are looking for a student pursuing studies in film, media arts, graphic design, or a related field, with:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom
• Strong creative and storytelling skills
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A passion for youth development and arts education
