Monarch NC is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Child Crisis Team in Charlotte, North Carolina. We provide high-quality, trauma-informed care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and substance use disorders—and we’re looking for professionals who share our commitment to hope, wellness, and empowerment.
What You’ll Do
As a Therapist on our Child Crisis team, you will:
- Deliver behavioral health and substance use services to individuals of all ages receiving Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including interviews with individuals and families, to identify presenting concerns, assess mental status and risk, and gather psychosocial history.
- Assign accurate diagnoses and develop intervention plans that help individuals and families achieve their goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered approaches and evidence-based practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Master’s Degree in a Human Services-related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years working with youth and families with mental health and/or substance use challenges (at least 1 year post-graduate).
- At least 1 year of experience in a crisis setting with children/youth/adolescents.
- Licensure: One of the following North Carolina licenses: LCASA, LCSWA, LMFTA, or LCMHCA.
