Stone Restoration of America is a premiere restoration and waterproofing commercial contractor of building facades and parking decks. A family-owned and operated business since 1993. Stone Restoration seeks an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. During the internship, the candidate will work closely with our project managers to support the planning, execution, and management of our restoration and waterproofing projects. The internship will provide valuable exposure to our specialized aspects of construction, from planning to completion, and help the candidate develop practical skills and industry knowledge.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in construction management and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, engineers, and other team members.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Help prepare project documentation including submittals, field reports, photos, RFI’s, and closeouts.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to understand project requirements.
• Participation in and documentation of project coordination meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in a construction management, engineering, or related program.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and materials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software.
• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods. Must be able to climb and balance on equipment, ladders, and scaffolding. Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
