Job Description

The Senior Director of University Events is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for all major University events, ensuring they are aligned with institutional goals and priorities. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive event plans, managing high-profile events, and collaborating with University leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to achieve desired results. The Senior Director supervises and mentors the events team, oversees event budgets, and ensures compliance with University policies.

This position may require occasional evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules. The Senior Director of Events will work in a collaborative office environment and may also spend time on-site at events. UNC Charlotte
