Job Description
Be a kids HERO by mentoring and leading activities with kids during after-school hours! You get to play games, lead crafts, support elementary homework, and create a space of belonging.
Our program is small, free to the community, and run out of a church in East Charlotte. We are focused on creating safe and inclusive spaces for our kids and enriching their lives. On the church campus we are allowed to use the gym, garden, playground, kids library, art room, and kitchen.
This position requires your own TRANSPORTATION. We are 10 minutes from UNCC.
WORK HOURS are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6:30. There are opportunities for extra hours doing admin, activity prep, etc.
