Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales and Design Associate to join our lighting showroom team. This role is responsible for delivering a high-touch, consultative sales experience to high-end residential clients, interior designers, and industry professionals. The ideal candidate combines strong product knowledge with a passion for design and excels at building lasting client relationships, while achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional in-showroom experience for clients, designers, and trade professionals by offering personalized lighting solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-end clientele, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
- Guide clients through product selection, offering expert advice on aesthetics, functionality, and technical specifications.
- Proactively generate new business through networking, outreach, and follow-up with existing clients.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of product lines, trends in lighting and interior design, and emerging technologies.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial consultation through order placement and post-sale follow-up.
- Ensure showroom displays are visually appealing, current, and aligned with brand standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall showroom success.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with discerning clients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals. Interest in interior design, architecture, or home décor is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
