JOB TITLE: Assistant Program Director – Dahlia Grove, Inc. (full-time 10 week summer internship)

Dahlia Grove is a nonprofit social enterprise located in Charlotte, NC seeking to empower and employ women survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence and sexual exploitation. We do this by providing a two year rent free restorative care home providing resources for healing and recovery. Mostly we provide a community of love and support. Through our social enterprise Dahlia Grove provides premium quality catering services to provide job training and employment for our survivors.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
● Collaborates directly with Program Director
● Assists Program Director with resident case management
● Drives residents to and from therapy and appointments
● Manages resident appointment schedules
● Facilitates classes
● Completes client intakes
● Performs room and house searches
● Performs random drug tests
● Assists phase one residents with their grocery shopping
● Performs resident chore checks
● Checks house phone messages and mail

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Criminal Justice, Criminology, Social Work, Human Services, Substance Abuse Counseling
