Job Description
Acts Retirement-Life Communities is looking for a Real Estate Projects Intern in the Charlotte area. This paid position will report directly to the Corporate Director of Construction Services. The internship experience will provide an opportunity for the student to learn about construction and real estate in the retirement/senior living industry. The student will assist with department goals, create a standard operating procedure for Construction Directors, creation of RFP standard form, manage a bi-weekly reporting system supporting new design standards for apartment renovations and selections.
The position will pay $16 per hour, and the student will work approximately 200 hours from May 29-July/August 2026 (the schedule is flexible, so the end date will depend upon the weekly schedule agreed upon by the student and preceptor).
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in construction, a hands-on-approach, and demonstrate competency in professional communication. The role is well suited to students looking to learn more about real estate and construction.
