Job Description Summary:
Responsible for supporting the activities and projects of the department. Assist management and other staff members in a specific department with a variety of tasks including projects, special events and daily activities.

Junior or senior-level college student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or other related fields. NOTE: Graduate level or postgraduate level applicants will not be considered.

Strong organizational skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team.

Professional and flexible self-starter and self-motivator.

Past project management experience and previous internship experience are preferred.

Familiarity with AP style.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
High school degree. Pursing a Degree in field where internship is offered. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office or Desktop publishing as required by the department. Previous work experience. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
JOB SPECIFICS

Paid ($16/hour), a one-year commitment, with a 90-day review to ensure the internship is a good fit. Summer-only internships are not offered.

Hours per week depend on the position and job site, but typically are 20 hours/week during the school year and up to 30 hours/week during the summer.

Some local travel may be required, so a vehicle is mandatory.

At least 50% remote work, with OhioHealth laptop provided
