FWS: CCI Student Engagement Ambassador

The College of Communication & Information (CCI) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed CCI Student Engagement Ambassador to join our team. This student role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community outreach, student engagement, and prospective student recruitment while representing CCI programs.

As a CCI Student Engagement Ambassador, you will work closely with faculty, staff, current students, and prospective students to help foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere. You will assist in organizing and promoting events and workshops, serve as a key resource for current students, and lead college tours and prospective student visits, including individual visits and group tours such as school field trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  Assist in planning, organizing, and promoting CCI events such as workshops, open houses, and student activities.

• 
  

  Lead CCI tours for prospective students and families, including individual appointments and group visits (e.g., field trips), providing accurate and engaging information about CCI programs and student life.

• 
  

  Serve as a liaison between CCI students, faculty, and staff, helping students access academic and campus resources.

• 
  

  Support outreach and engagement efforts to enhance CCI visibility across campus and with prospective students.

• 
  

  Maintain weekly office hours to assist students and answer questions about CCI programs and resources.

• 
  

  Collaborate with CCI staff to create promotional materials and assist with event logistics.

• 
  

  Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all current and prospective students.
