Job Description
Position Summary
Huber Engineered Woods (HEW) is an award-winning manufacturer of innovative Oriented Strand Board building products. The Inside Sales and Industrial Sales Departments are looking for an individual to join our fast-paced environment in an internship capacity. This position will require a sales, technical, analytical, and marketing skill set. The internship will provide immersive experience in customer service-oriented tasks, continuous improvement projects, and working as a member of a highly accomplished team. This individual must be a highly motivated self-starter with the personality to work within a team-oriented environment. This position is located in Charlotte, NC.
Scope of Internship
- Introduction to HEW as a company and the building materials industry
- Introduction to HEW products – residential and industrial
- Introduction to HEW go-to-market strategy
- Logistics, Manufacturing, and Planning overview
- Order to Cash overview
- Customer Service philosophy
Key Projects
- Support Industrial marketing initiatives such as branding and promotions
- Support Industrial administrative initiatives such a process documentation, rebate programs, and VMI management,
- Oracle ERP customer ship-to project
- Update service guidelines formatting
- SalesForce project quote database review
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 4 Year bachelor’s degree program at an accredited institution
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Based in Charlotte, NC sales office
