JOB TITLE: Field Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Construction Operations
REPORTING TO: Joe Hanson, Vice President
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
SUMMARY
The primary roles of the FS are to help with the successful execution of our projects by working closely with our team and the customer by being our onsite representative and relaying important information between all stakeholders.
The Field Supervisor has an integral role in helping manage assigned projects by ensuring information is shared between various stakeholders and our standards are being met in the field. Working closely with the Project Managers, Quality Manager, and Safety Manager, as well as collaborating with Resource Partners, the Field Supervisor reports to the VP of Operations. As LE Schwartz’s onsite representative, they ensure safety standards are met during the installation process, coordinate with all necessary parties, and report progress. The FS also plays a crucial role in documenting key information gathered during on-site activities, contributing to comprehensive project records. This documentation aids in effective communication, project planning, and continuous improvement. The FS further helps strengthen our relationships with our customers by working closely with their onsite team
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Safety – know OSHA standards and LES safety protocol to effectively manage safety on projects being supervised.
- Planning – Acquire project information, including crew assignments, from the Project Manager before each project starts. Collaborate closely with PMs to integrate project-specific requirements into planning during the entire project.
- Coordination – Take the lead in on-site planning and coordination with other trades, internal crews, and GCs to execute the project plan. Coordinate with onsite installers to meet job specific schedules while production is taking place or to address issues that arise during construction.
- Information Gathering – Identify and report job-specific issues critical for planning and overall project success. Provide regular and comprehensive updates regarding onsite materials, the progress of LES’s work, and the overall project progress.
- Project Documentation (external LES processes) – Use LES apps to record status of the project including problems, current conditions, communications from the field, job specific information, quality and progress of installation, and safety standards.
- Documentation for LES internal processes – Use LES apps to record status of equipment, materials, deliveries, certified payroll requirements, and any other information requested by LES management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or advanced training in construction management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or roofing industry.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequent travel required to job sites in the Southeast Region.
- Onboarding includes a 6-week training period in Macon, GA, with provided food and accommodation.
- Company truck, cell phone, gas card, tablet, and $30 per day per diem for food provided.
- Drug-Free Workplace: Must pass a witnessed pre-employment drug screen and physical.
