The CI team consists of a talented group of engineers, technicians, and managers with an extensive background in the test and measurement industry. CI’s main headquarters and manufacturing are in Santa Clara, California, with a second office in Kannapolis, North Carolina (near Charlotte).

This position is for East Coast technical sales, located in CI’s second office in NC.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales presentations: deliver technical presentations for Crystal Instruments product portfolio
  • Product demos: conduct online or in-person product demonstration for potential customers
  • Customer visits: identify opportunities for Crystal Instruments hardware
  • Proposal writing: prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for potential customers
  • Technical support: provide first line technical support in the sales process
  • Installation support: support existing and new product installations for vibration test systems
  • Record-keeping: organize records for existing customer warranty and support
  • Expected travel: 40% of the time

Qualifications

  • B.S., or M.S. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on mechanical and computer skills
  • Friendly, social, presentable, and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full-time commitment and immediate availability
  • Preferred skills in instrumentation, data acquisition, vibration analysis, vibration test and signal analysis

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary, commission, and benefits. The compensation package is highly competitive and depends on experience.
