The goal of the Educational Impact Team typically revolves around improving educational outcomes, fostering innovation in teaching and learning, and ensuring that educational initiatives have a meaningful, lasting impact on students and the broader community.
Hiring and Data Management:
We are seeking someone to provide feedback on 50+ resumes to assist teachers with finding teaching positions across the state of North Carolina. In addition, we are looking for a candidate with strong data organization skills to mark resumes and requirements as complete in excel
tracker.

Describe how the student will benefit from participation (learning experience)
Students will develop strong leadership skills by taking on responsibilities that involve project management, data management, strategic planning, and collaboration with our team. Students will also gain a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the U.S.
education system, particularly in under-resourced communities. This experience fosters a commitment to social justice and educational equity. Lastly, interns learn about the inner workings of a large nonprofit organization, including fundraising, communications, operations,
and program implementation, which is beneficial for those interested in a career in the nonprofit
sector.

-Continuously track and input data of incoming teachers as they complete requirements for hire in North Carolina.
