Summer MicroFridge Cleaner

Standards for Living is in search of Summer workers to clean MicroFridge fridge/freezer/microwave combination units. 

This is an on-site position. The warehouse is located in Huntersville; a few miles from Exit 25 off i-77. 

All cleaning supplies and training on how to clean the units properly will be provided. 

We will likely start at the end of May and run through the Summer until all of the units are clean (typically early/mid-July). This can vary depending on how fast the units are cleaned. 

Hours are Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. - 2/3 p.m. You will have holidays off and we can accommodate time off for family vacations. 

Pay is $7 per cleaned MicroFridge unit. Each unit will be inspected by a supervisor. In the past, workers have cleaned between 3-6 units per hour. You will receive a check every Friday for the units you've cleaned that week. 

We will be in a large warehouse. You are welcome to bring earbuds to listen to music/podcasts/etc. while you work. You are encouraged to wear light, comfortable clothes as there will be standing, bending and sitting. The warehouse can get warm. There is no HVAC but we will have fans and plenty of cold, bottled water available. 

Because it is not a full work day, we typically do not break for lunch. You are welcome to bring food and/or snacks. A MicroFridge is available to use. 

Some lifting is required as we stack the units on top of each other after they are cleaned. Two people are required to pick up the unit and its weight is 80 pounds.
