Job Summary/Overview:
The Quality Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of manufacturing through learning day-to-day quality assurance responsibilities. The Quality Intern will be tasked with understanding the manufacturing process of the YKSK and CK lines to create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that will improve efficiency and quality performance though the reduction of customer claims.
Location: Wadesboro, NC
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in various activities to learn and gain hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, including but not limited to reviewing control plans, customer issues, MRB (Material Review Board) process, and non-conforming material process
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures
- Documenting and reporting quality assurance activities by creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and identifying any areas of concern
- Coordinating with various teams such as the quality, manufacturing engineering, and design engineering teams, to address quality issues and suggest solutions
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
- Microsoft Excel

- Teamwork
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related.
- Must be able to work full time from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
- Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
